  We have been very busy over the last month brewing special beers and making modifications to the Brewery.

St Niklaas our Belgian inspired winter beer of 2008 won a coveted write up in this years Good Bottled Beer guide. Shame as there are no plans to brew it again at present.

Better news for all dark beer lovers, Redoubt Stout also won a write up in the Good Bottled beer guide  and this beer is available in bottles year round, thanks in no small part to my preference for dark beers.

Flushed with the success of Redoubt Stout at this year's GBBF where it was consistently in the top ten of the punter's choices, we are proud to announce that we have brewed a stronger version. Imperial Redoubt Stout still has the same bitter chocolate taste and similar hop profile as the original, but weighs in at 8% ABV. Available at Harwich and Dovercourt Winter Beer Festival and in 330ml bottles from selected outlets
