Where do I start...?

It is difficult to balance the demands of modern day brewing. Everybody has their favourite beer and beer style. There are many traditions to be upheld... and yet there are also many beer styles which do not feature in the vocabulary of most drinkers. Whilst we aim to celebrate all that is great about British beer, we acknowledge that there are many other nations with a proud brewing tradition. Therefore, we aim to bring these styles to market through an occasional range of bottled beers.

Our original premises were a rare example of a 20th century stables for horses, used at the nearby shunting yards in the historic seaport of Harwich. We now brew on shared plant further inland.
